James Allen was charged with one count of rape after investigators viewed the social media video, said Ottawa County Prosecutor James VanEerten.

The man was arrested Tuesday after a friend of the woman saw the alleged attack online and contacted police.
VanEerten said it was not clear whether the woman live-streamed the assault or posted video of it afterward.
The prosecutor said it was unclear why she took the footage.

“It’s obviously horrific, but at least it FR UE 3.2 et 3.3 - Projet de soins infirmiers ; Rôle infirmier PDF allowed us to put a stop to the situation and make a quick arrest in this case,” he said, according to the Toledo Blade.
The woman was evaluated at a nearby hospital.
